The Annual Dinner took place on 12th December at the Glendevon Hotel in Bournemouth.
Over the weekend of 6th and 7th September 1980 we participated in the open section hf ssb field day from Lytchett Matravers using the callsign G3ZPR/P. As can be seen in the table below, 15m was our most successful band. We came 21st Overall with 81,243 points.

An informal gathering was organised at Tyneham Village on Sunday 31st August.
57 people attended the barbeque in July 1980.
37 people enjoyed the coach trip that was organised to the Woburn Rally.
Pat G3WLK won the Poole Cup.
Slow Morse transmissions were sent by Howard G8FG on Monday and Wednesday evenings on 2m to help those wanting to pass their 12 words-per-minute Morse Tests, a prerequisite for anyone wishing to obtain a Class A licence permitting operation on the hf bands.
