On this page you will find illustrated reports of some of our activities during 1982.
Over the weekend of 4th and 5th September we participated in hf ssb field day from a tent in a field at Lytchett Matravers using the callsign G3ZPR/P. Equipment used included a Yaesu FT560 transceiver, a 3-element beam and a ‘V’ beam antenna together with dipoles for 40m and 80m. A total of 313 stations were worked. Operation was for most for the 24-hours of the contest.

A regular net on 10m operated on Wednesday evenings.
The March 1982 meeting featured a construction contest. Entrants had to remove or cover up anything which could identify who had build their entries. Howard Cunningham G8FG judged.
