Poole Radio Society Programme of Events 2026
Nets
2m FM nets take place on Monday evenings at 19:30 local time, on 145.375 MHz FM
4m FM nets on Tuesday evenings at 19:30 local time on 70.375 MHz FM
2m USB nets on Wednesday evenings at 19:30 local time on 144.375 MHz USB
10m CW nets on Saturday mornings 08:00 local time on 28.055 MHz CW
Zoom
A Zoom meeting takes place on Fridays at 19:30 local
Where we meet
Our meetings take place at St. Aldhelm’s Church Hall on Thursday evenings. St Aldhelm’s Church is located in Branksome on the right between the Branksome Roundabout and Tesco as you head towards Bournemouth.
Getting to St. Aldhelm’s Hall
Car
There is some on-some site parking via Lindsay Road (Sat Nav BH13 6BT). If this fills, the neighbouring roads can be used. Please DON’T use the Lidl car park. St Aldhelm’s Church Hall has wheelchair access and has disabled toilets on the level. Please be careful as there may be children attending the neighbouring scout hut.
On Foot
Pedestrians can enter via Lindsay Road or Poole Road.
Trains
We are a short walk (under 5 minutes) from Branksome Railway station (trains to/from Weymouth/Dorchester/Poole/Bournemouth/Southampton).
Buses
There is a Bus Stop almost directly outside for buses from Bournemouth and diagonally opposite for buses from Poole. The More Bus routes are the M1 and M2 to/from Poole/Bournemouth (CHECK TIMETABLE). The More Bus 16 service also passes the door. There is a pelican crossing nearby to assist crossing the busy main road.

Our activities start as soon as possible after 19:30 local clock time.
